Relion 1670 systems are the ultimate High Performance Penguins. These systems pack a tremendous amount of computing power and memory capacity in a compact 1U rack mountable form factor. Relion 1670 is optimized for cluster deployments and features standard mounting rails and remote IPMI management. High efficiency, 80%+ rated power supply results in reduced power bills and cooler data center. Penguin Computing can deliver complete turn-key clustering solution including Relion 1670 servers, InfiniBand interconnect fabric, storage solution and preloaded with Linux operating system and Scyld ClusterWare management software.

Penguin Relion 1670 platform provides performance features not found in typical enterprise platforms - Intel "Seaburg" core logic chipset, dual Intel "Harpertown" quad core CPUs with 1600MHz front side bus and up to 128GB RAM capacity. Memory performance can be further optimized by specifying the optional DDR2-800 high speed memory. Systems are available with high capacity, high reliability, 24/7-rated SATA drives or with ultra high performance 15000rpm SAS drives.

Tested and proven Linux compatibility comes standard with all Penguin servers and 3-year hardware warranty is always included.
