Relion Intel 1672 : Two Nodes in One

Most recent addition to the Penguin Relion lineup is Relion 1672 "twin" system. Each Relion 1672 unit packs two independent x86 nodes, doubling the CPU horsepower available in 1U rackmount form factor. Relion 1672 is targeted for cluster deployments where maximum CPU performance and RAM capacity are to be delivered within limited physical space. Under the hood Relion 1672 is about equal to a pair of Relion 1670s. Each of the two nodes supports high performance features such as Intel 5400 "Seaburg" chipset, two Intel 5400 series "Harpertown" CPUs and Fully Buffered DDR2-800 memory. Integrated InfiniBand DDR (Double Data Rate) interface is available as an option.
