High Performance Computing Node - Altus AMD 650 Linux Server

Altus 650 is designed to do one thing well and that is HPC clusters. This platform maximizes CPU performance, memory capacity and bandwidth while minimizing the cost. Two quad-core AMD Opteron 2000-series processors provide the computing horsepower and 16 DIMM slots result in class leading 64GB RAM capacity. Basic connectivity is provided by dual on-board Gigabit Ethernet ports and PCI Express x16 slot accommodates InfiniBand DDR or 10 Gigabit Ethernet interconnect options.

Everything in Altus 650 is designed for cluster deployments. Tool-less rails make on-site installation easy to perform, and once installed Altus 650 is simple to manage. Standard IPMI 2.0 support provides remote power control and monitoring of vital system health statistics, such as temperature, voltages and fan speeds.
