Altus 1650 Server Series
Our state-of-the-art Altus 1650 family is a great 1U HPC cluster node. Equipped with latest AMD Opteron 2200 and new 2300 series Quad Core processors and DDR2 memory Altus provides plentiful performance for technical computing applications. PCI Express expansion slot with full x16 lanes comes in handy when boosting your cluster performance with high speed, low latency interconnects such as InfiniBand.
All Altus 1650 models include IPMI 2.0 remote monitoring & management capabilities, which simplifies mass deployments and reduces ongoing administration workload. Standard Serial over LAN (SOL) functionality allows customers to eliminate serial console appliances and cables.
Altus 1650 and all other Altus models are now available with new Barcelona Quad Core CPUs. These are listed as Opteron 235x in the system configurator.
